When you write a cooking blog like Worth The Whisk, the mechanics of it can result in earlier recipes being tucked waaaay away in places quite difficult to find without digging. You might find it interesting to read that these are my four top recipes of all times (on this blog). Not surprising, all desserts.
When I say “top recipes,” I mean that they’ve gone viral, with lots of links out there on other blogs that draw traffic back to these posts. They really are pretty darn good.
How To Make a Flower Pot Ice Cream Sundae has gone worldwide. I keep finding my link on the wackiest blogs out there, like Japanese High Tech roundups or school blogs or bored college students. No matter, it really is pretty fun.
How To Make Pots de Crème The Lazy Way is another one out there all over. One reason is, I believe, the photo. My little cup gets attention. But the recipe really is killer good.
Kahlua Chocolate Cupcakes with Kahlua Buttercream Frosting. I get a lot of hits on my blog for anything Kahlua, and this one post gets a lot of STUMBLES (in fact, when you click through on any of these, pleeeeeeze give them stumbles to keep this going).
And Tangerine Tart with Cookie Crust makes your mouth water just reading those words. This got a lot of “Stumble Love” and it is a recipe that is quite worth the accolades. If you love citrus as much as I do (and a great back story on my trip to the Ojai Pixie Tangerine Ranch), give it a read and another stumble, please.
