Couldn’t help myself. Our Saturday Dinner Theme Party last weekend at Camp GetAway for Mothers & Others was “Meet Me At The Movies.” Julie & Julia was a no-brainer to this foodie; one of the funniest photo stills from the movie is Meryl holding that raw chicken. HEY! I already had that shirt and apron. Wig and chicken were no problem, as LA has numerous Halloween stores. At camp, I walked into the lodge with her booming trill, “Bwooo-WON Appétit!” Pretty hysterical, but to be honest, they all pretty much HAD to laugh since I was the Fearless Leader of the event. PS. the necklace is garlic.
